Join us and make a real difference in cancer care while enjoying life in one of the UK's most iconic cities! ### Main duties of the job Work as a senior member of the team of Radiographers covering all sections of the department including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple & complex treatment and IGRT techniques. Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of their assigned pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload. Liaising with the multidisciplinary team. Assist with the day-to-day organisation of a treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service. ## Person Specification ### Essential & Desireable **Essential** - BSc (Hon) in Radiotherapy. - HCPC registered as Therapeutic Radiographer - Core knowledge of a range of radiotherapy equipment and techniques - A general understanding of computerised treatment planning systems. - Post registration experience of working as a Therapeutic Radiographer with rotations through pre-treatment and treatment during that period - Current relevant experience - Experience and knowledge of all IGRT modalities **Desirable** - Evidence of post graduate study - Previous NHS experience - Previous senior experience - Experience of advanced techniques e.g., SABR, SRS, DIBH, TBI, Adaptive RT - Evaluation of CBCT images - Experience of mentoring/training student radiographers ## Documents - [person spec.
