Previous applicants need not apply. ### Main duties of the job Main Duties of the Role: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure perioperative patients receive high-quality, evidence-based nursing care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic and individualised care that respects each patient’s dignity, values, and beliefs. Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors in line with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, families, and visitors to support safe and compassionate care. Serve as a clinical and professional role model, demonstrating specialist knowledge and consistently high standards of practice. Provide support and guidance to students and newly qualified staff, acting as a mentor, educator, and assessor to promote evidence-based practice. Assist in managing the theatre budget, including maintaining appropriate stock levels and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
