We are looking for  forward thinking and highly motivated practitioners, who are able to demonstrate good time management skills, you will also need to possess good communication skill (verbal, written & electronic) and have the ability to work as part of a cohesive team. This post is suitable for registered staff – RGN and ODP, newly qualified and experienced and you must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post will be primarily recovery however the candidate will be expected if ODP trained to be multi-skilled and work across anaesthetics or scrub additionally. ### Main duties of the job To perform as safe and competent clinical members of the team in theatre  and to provide specialised holistic care for the peri-operative patient. Contribute to an effective, motivated and competent workforce and ensure that high quality standards are maintained and developed. Ensure the cleanliness of all the Operating Theatre areas and equipment at all times. Prepare the Operating Theatre prior to and following operative procedures. Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota as required. Perform other duties as reasonably required to assist in the smooth running of the Operating Department. Be responsible for the self-development of skills and competencies. Staff members who are required to participate in the On-Call rota must be able to attend the hospital within 30 minutes of being called and therefore must live within a travel distance that allows them to reach the hospital within a 30-minute journey time.
