This development will enhance our elective capacity, improve patient flow, and support excellence in surgical care We are seeking enthusiastic theatre practitioners with current NMC/HCPC registration, who will play a key role in delivering safe, high quality perioperative care withing a multidisciplinary team You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of specialties, including Orthopaedics. Clinical: - Assess, develop, implement and evaluate patient care when receiving the patient into the theatre environment, whilst supporting the patient through invasive procedures and during handover at the completion of the anaesthetic/surgical procedure. - Prepare, assemble and check theatre and anaesthetic equipment, planning and organising their own time. Ensuring the provision of equipment and stock for procedures planned. Assist senior staff in forward planning of theatre stock as directed Rotating stock as necessary and notify senior members of staff when applicable. Clinical: (Scrub) Provide skilled scrub assistance for a range of surgical specialities, such as robotic surgery, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, gynaecology, urology, orthopaedic and emergency surgery, ensuring safe, efficient, patient centred care. - Assist in at least two areas of practice (scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery) to support service flexibility.
