We are recruiting for a Telephonist to operate a digital telephone switchboard, providing first line communication to the general public, presenting a helpful and polite manner to both external and internal callers.

You will be required to carry out laid down procedures covering emergencies, alarm activation and out of hours on-call staff. Telephony experience and computer literacy is preferred but full training can be given to the successful applicant. You should have flexibility to cover 24/7 when required.

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
