Additionally - Required to deliver accredited decontamination Training and Education Programmes nationally to the healthcare sector, in the areas of decontamination of reusable medical devices. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard and at all times work within the guidelines laid out in the AVM quality system and procedures manual so as to fulfil the Trust’s overall objectives. ### Main duties of the job You will be required to act as the Authorised Person (Decontamination) for installed decontamination equipment, as defined by Department of Health guidelines at various NHS Trusts, Private Healthcare Establishments and Commercial Organisations. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard at all times and to work within the guidelines laid out in the AVM quality system and procedures manual so as to fulfil the Trust’s overall objectives; all work will be carried 3 out in compliance with statutory / legislative requirements and other local / national NHS standards and guidelines. This will include NHS Technical Memoranda, Health Building Notes, International, European and British Standards etc. You will be responsible for the technical control of the installed decontamination equipment and will have the autonomy and freedom to manage delegated projects within strict statutory / legislative guidelines.
