### Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled person to join our friendly and professionally established administration team within Adult Mental Health for the Community Mental Health Team. The post-holder will be based at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

The role will be working alongside another team secretary and medical secretaries and together you will support with the general admin required by the team, including Mental Health Practitioners, Consultant Psychiatrists and Psychological Therapy staff.

At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

The post holder must have:

- Previous Team Secretarial experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills
- Face to face and on the telephone communication skills with members of the public and various members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Good time management skills
- Have the ability to prioritise their work appropriately
- Have a flexible approach to their work and working environment.

The successful candidate must be:

-A very positive

- Methodical and calm approach to all aspects of their work
- Able to multi-task

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Audio typing.Experience of setting up and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.Experience of dealing with the public.Competence in using a number of software packages, e.g.; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.Experience of minute taking/action notes.Organised and flexible.Previous experience of working as a secretary.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Excellent standard of written and oral English.Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Office 365.

**Desirable**

- NVQ 2/3 or equivalent in Health CareKnowledge of Rio and Healthcare IT systems
