An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service as a Team Manager. This is a pivotal role within a compassionate, forward-thinking service committed to delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to people experiencing first episode psychosis and those at risk.

You will lead a skilled, multi-disciplinary team that is passionate about early intervention, innovation, and making a meaningful difference at a crucial stage in people’s lives.

- Be at the forefront of preventative mental health care and early intervention
- Lead a passionate and skilled MDT delivering evidence-based, person-centred care
- Shape and develop services, including ARMS / FEP pathways
- Work within a supportive, values-led organisation that prioritises staff wellbeing

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team (Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Therapists and support staff) to develop and deliver a successful and innovative service to serve adults and their families with Mental Health problems in mid Cornwall. Working in partnership with wider multidisciplinary teams the post holder will take responsibility and accountability for the delivery of clinical services within East Cornwall. As well as strategic direction and implementation of service developments the Team Manager will be responsible for the line management of staff including supervision, appraisal and continued professional development to ensure the team is operating at the highest of standards and within local and national guidelines.

### Personal Qualities

- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.

### Skills and Aptitude

**Essential**

- Proven leadership, and management skills.
- Able to inspire and lead on new developments.
- Able to prioritise workload and manage stress in self and others.

### Education/ Qualification and relevent experiance

**Essential**

- Degree level qualification in relevant subject
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Leadership/Management qualification or experience to diploma level
- Experience of service development and change processes
- Experience of complex interaction with commissioners and partner agencies to ensure effective working.

**Desirable**

- Masters level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Substantial experience working at a senior level in a mental health setting.
