Walsall’s CAMHS Service is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Administrator with proven skills to complement our existing administrative team.

### Main duties of the job

As part of this very busy team you will need to provide an efficient, effective, professional and confidential administrative service to our large team of clinicians.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will also be expected to provide diary management, such as booking appointments and to maintain electronic records, in accordance with Trust policy. You will work closely with other administrative staff to ensure continuity of administration support and mutual assistance within the service. It will be expected that the post holder will be able to think on their feet, provide flexible cover for service opening hours and able to cover times of absence such as holidays and sick leave. The work will be demanding and varied and you will be required to have excellent demonstrable administrative skills, be confident and assertive and be able to work autonomously using your own initiative. You should be a competent audio typist and have a good knowledge of Excel. Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability and community healthcare services for the population of the Black Country. Our service is a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, specialist nurses, systemic, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists. This post will be based in Walsall locality however applicants much be prepared to work across the Black Country as and when required.

### Skills / Abilities

**Essential**

- - Excellent work processing skills including accurate and speedy typing and audio typing
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when dealing as first point of contact with all levels of staff in person, on the telephone and in written correspondence
- - Effective handling of highly confidential information ensuring high level of discretion at all times
- - Excellent planning and organisational skills

### Knowledge and Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of providing administration support to a team of staff
- Experience of co-ordinating complex meetings
- Experience of maintaining systems eg databases

### Qualifications & Experience

**Essential**

- Good standard of education / 5 GCSE’s or equivalent with GCSE English grade A - C
- Word processing / typing at RSA/OCR Level II (or equivalent)
- NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualification

**Desirable**

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
