You will provide highly specialist systemic assessment and therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their families/carers, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop systemic practice across the service. The role will include: - Managing a specialist caseload and coordinating care. - Providing systemic family therapy and psycho-educational interventions. - Offering specialist consultation, formulation and advice to CAMHS colleagues. - Supporting clinical supervision, teaching and training. - Contributing to service development, audit, research and clinical governance. ### Main duties of the job We are looking for a qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist registered with UKCP via the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy, with at least four years' demonstrable practice and significant experience working as a family therapist. Experience of supervision, teaching, service development, leadership, research or group work would be desirable. Join us and be part of a supportive, collaborative and forward-thinking CAMHS team. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities To provide highly specialist systemic family psychotherapy services to children, young people and their families / carers across all sectors of care; providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment in line with NICE guidance. To develop systemic practice within the Team and work in partnership with other disciplines To carry a caseload and coordinate care for those children, young people and families on the caseload; to offer specialist advice and consultation on clients’ care and systemic formulation and practice to Camhs colleagues. To support the Consultant Clinical Psychologist lead, Service Manager and Clinical Lead with the work of a particular team or service area. To work within Trust and professional guidelines, to a clear CAMHS job plan. To support the Departmental clinical governance structure through the provision of clinical supervision in relation to specific modalities of psychotherapy and by providing clinical input to supervisees’ appraisals. Within supervision, team meetings and other fora, to support and promote the use of measures within the CYP IAPT framework to evolve clinical practice and enhance user experience. To seek opportunities to include service user perspectives in how services are delivered. To utilise research skills for practice evaluation and service development, as required by the service and set out in the job plan.
