An exciting opportunity has arise to join our Supply Chain Team in Salisbury Foundation Trust as a Supply Chain Asisstant, working as part of the Receipts & Distribution Team.

Salisbury Foundation Trust is part of the Integrated Care Service initiative between Salisbury, Bath and Swindon.

It is a time of huge opportunity and impactful changes within the NHS, modernising the service by adopting GS1 standards and Scan4Safety methods.

The successful applicant will have a drive to deliver outstanding Supply Chain Service across the trust and ensure that all processes are followed to ensure the patient is safe and all products are available to the end users.

This is a customer focused role providing a service to maintain a continuous supply of goods to the forefront to deliver patient and clinical care.

The role is varied and very physical in nature due to the activities that will be undertaken such as picking, packing, sorting, and the distribution of goods.

The role is a full time 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 08:00 – 16:00.

### Main duties of the job

This role is to enhance the level of service delivered to the Acute trust and to drive improvements.

As a Supply Chain Assistant at SFT, you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical services within the hospital receive regular deliveries.

The primary tasks of the role are as follows:

Delivering goods across the site.

Collecting empty cages from around the site.

Delivering parcels around site and obtaining a proof of delivery.

Assisting in the Receipts and Distribution department with booking in and receipting of goods.

Assisting the wider Supply Chain Team as required.
