The successful candidate will support the Regional Supply Chain Manager to help develop and implement services in relation to Warehousing. The post holder will be responsible for the management of staff working within the Supply Chain function. The role is an integral part of the wider NHS and reliant on good engagement and relationships with others is essential. The post holder will be expected to work at any of the Health Board sites and to fulfil any job allocated, commensurate with the grade. You must have the ability to travel between sites. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. ### Main duties of the job The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, specifically Warehousing, Management of staff and stock control. An excellent understanding of Health & Safety is also essential for this role. The post holder will work closely with the wider management team to ensure that stock is managed effectively and in line with Organisational operational policies and procedures. The role will include but is not limited to the below: Oversee the day-to-day running of the Denbigh Regional Warehouse and wider Supply Chain function. Manage stock control processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Lead, support, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a positive working environment and promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Monitor performance and identify opportunities for service improvements and innovation. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners across the NHS network.
