Within the hospital environment, candidates must be willing to engage with all patients, relatives, staff, and to work with all chaplaincy colleagues regardless of denomination, gender, faith or belief. It is expected that chaplaincy volunteers will be recognised within and be approved by either their own denomination, faith or belief group, be in good standing within their own faith/belief community and ideally, have demonstrated previous pastoral experience. ### Main duties of the job - As a Sunday Service Chaplaincy Volunteer: taking Holy Communion to and/praying with patients who have asked for a bedside visit on Sunday mornings.
