Starting in September 2026 this full time programme provides both academic study and hands on learning through placements within the Shropshire  and Telford area. Your time is divided  between university, supervised community practice and study days. You’ll gain a postgraduate diploma and the in-depth grounding and required skills to support children’s development and give them the best start in life. Please note this vacancy may close early if a high volume of applications is received, we advise you submit your application early to avoid disappointment. ### Main duties of the job To complete the required further education at level 7 in order to provide and maintain a high standard of skilled School Nursing Practice for individuals, groups and communities in a variety of settings in accordance with the accredited faculty syllabus. The student School Nurse works under the direction of the Practice Educator.  The student will also work along side qualified SCPHN School Nurses within the team.
