Stroke Liaison Nurse

Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679 (pro rata)

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461(pro rata)

15 hours per week

Permanent post

We are looking for a highly motivated staff nurse with a passion for, and a clear vision for stroke care to join our stroke team in the Western Isles. This post can be based in Uist & Barra Community or at Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway.

It is essential for the applicant to be an NMC Registered Adult Nurse and have substantial post registration experience in stroke care and be educated to degree level or be able to evidence relevant experience at band 5 level within a relevant setting.

There is the opportunity to work the hours over 2 or 3 days.

This post requires you to have good communication, organisation and time management skills. A good understanding and knowledge of policy, procedures and national targets will be required to support the team.
