You must be a Registered General Nurse; experience in medical nursing is an advantage. The post would be suitable for qualified and newly qualified nurse. You will pride yourself on delivering high standards of nursing care, be flexible have the ability to work in a busy environment caring for patients within the Outpatient department. We require enthusiastic individuals who can work flexibly within the team over 5-day periods. Hours of work are from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday to Friday with optional Saturdays. The shifts are 6 hours or 12 hours depending on the needs of the department. If you feel you have the necessary skills and wish to be part of a friendly professional team, we would be glad to receive your application, informal visits are welcomed. ### Main duties of the job Use a range of technique to ensure set and monitor standards of clinical practice, audit, research and teaching to set monitor and continually improve standards of care and patient experience. Ensure safe and effective clinical practice. Enhance patient experience. To lead, manage and develop team performance, promote professionalism and trust. Ensure effective delivery of Divisional and Organisational objectives. Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, managing a devolved budget. Ensuring all patients prescription and medication is available on day of treatment. Gain consent from patients to undergo treatment. Liaise with family, friends and relatives as required. Ensuring patients are treated with dignity and respect. Completing and incident reporting using the Datix system for any near miss, potential or actual incidents.
