Elm ward offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join a team who support female patients within a 20 bedded acute ward environment. This post is not open to Newly Registered Nurses, candidates must have their NMC registration in place and successfully completed the preceptorship programme in order to be considered. This role includes - Improving the lives of those with mental ill health by minimising the impact of their condition through delivery of excellent services to promote recovery. - To be compassionate in meeting the needs of patients - To be professionally accountable and responsible for patient care, undertaking a range of clinical/therapeutic interventions. - Acting as named nurse to patients - To facilitate the development of others within the team and to support student nurses - To be responsible for the day to day running of the ward - To always promote a positive image of mental health services for other people and the wider Trust ### Main duties of the job You will work as part of a broad multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality, patient focused care in a hospital setting, developing and implementing the integrated team approach within a supportive and enthusiastic team.
