The outpatient department is a diverse and fast-paced clinical area, which sees a high turnover of patients. We care for women minor procedures, general gynaecology, pessary changes, gynaecology oncology, pre-operative assessments and emergency admissions. Gynaecology Outpatients also cares for women attending the Pregnancy Advisory Service. The staff working in this department will also be expected to rotate to support other gynaecology services at Castle Hill Hospital. Previous gynaecology experience would be considered an advantage but not essential as training will be provided for those candidates that demonstrate a keen interest in women’s health. The successful applicant will have a positive, caring attitude and excellent communication skills. You will be committed to the Hull University Teaching Hospital’s NHS Trust Vision and Values to provide excellent evidence-based care and be motivated to learn and share new ideas for improving the patient experience.
