Hopewood Hospital in Sherwood, Nottingham has 32 beds across 3 wards and is based on site with an education facility for our inpatients, a CAMHS community base with specialist teams and both inpatient and community perinatal teams

Hercules Ward (PICU) Pegasus Ward (Specialist Eating Disorder Unit) and Phoenix Ward (General Adolescent Unit) have exciting opportunities for an experienced RMN or RNLD to join our teams.

THIS POST IS FOR A FULL TIME 12 MONTH FIXED TERM POST TO COVER MATERNITY

Main duties of the job:

Hercules Ward is an 8 bedded psychiatric intensive care unit that works with young people experience severe and enduring mental health problems. We work closely with families and a full MDT to ensure positive outcomes for young people. we encourage staff to be fully involved in patients care and including group and 1:1 work.

The hospital is supported by a senior nurse who remains on site 24 hours a day.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
