An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Staff Nurse within the newly located Acute Frailty unit, based on Ward 20 at Arrowe Park Hospital, as a fixed term 12 month contract. The unit is an assessment area for over 74 year olds and operates with a 25 inpatient bed base, SDEC area and rapid access clinic. The successful candidate should have relevant acute experience of working in a busy clinical NHS/hospital environment.

### Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training

**Essential**

- 1st Level NMC Registration
- Evidence of Professional Development
- Suitable for newly qualified or experienced staff nurse
- Experience of maintaining accurate records
- Relevant clinical knowledge and experience

**Desirable**

- Act as a practice supervisor
- Willing to undertake Practice Assessor Training
- Relevant Degree or willing to register to work towards degree
- Relevant or willingness to undertake relevant module/course
- NHS Experience
- Awareness of Health Policies and the changing NHS environment
