### Job summary

Due to promotion we are looking for a dynamic, motivated and passionate person to join us as a Staff Nurse on the Hadley Unit.

Hadley Unit is a 9 bed mixed gender treatment ward that is situated in Worcester. The Hadley Unit is a referral-based service; we can accept referrals from a number of sources including the community, acute wards and patients detained by the Ministry of Justice.

As one of the Staff Nurses you will work closely with the management and medical team, alongside the Complex Discharge facilitator, Home Treatment Teams and the Crisis Resolution Team.

Part of your role is to ensure patient care is of the highest standards, you act as a role model at all times and use your initiative to maintain quality and safety. Alongside an already established management team you will assist in supporting and educating junior staff.

### Main duties of the job

Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring patients individuality and privacy are maintained at all times.

Ensure that each patient in their care receives an individual nursing assessment and is the subject of a regularly updated care plan which, wherever practicable, is formulated in conjunction with the patient.

Actively participate in the clinical supervision framework.

Ensure that information regarding patients needs and progress is communicated promptly and accurately to their relatives and other professionals involved in their care having due regard for confidentiality at all times.

Facilitate open and harmonious communications amongst all staff within the ward, as well as with other departments, with the aim of promoting multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approaches to care.

Organise and actively participate in activities to meet assessed occupational needs of the patients.

### Qualifications

- RN Mental Health, RN (Adult) or RNLD.
