This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute setting caring for patients with a wide range of vascular conditions, including peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot complications, aneurysms, and post-operative vascular surgery patients. Our ward provides high-quality specialist care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. You will work closely with vascular surgeons, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and discharge teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care. We have a varied shift pattern of early shifts (0730-1400), late shifts (13:30-2000), long days (0730-2000), night shifts (1930-0800). ### Main duties of the job - Deliver high standards of nursing care to vascular and surgical patients - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care - Monitor deteriorating patients and respond appropriately to acute clinical needs - Support patients pre- and post-operatively - Administer medications and treatments in line with NHS policies - Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team - Provide education and support to patients and relatives - Maintain accurate clinical documentation - Supervise and support junior staff and students where appropriat ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK.
