Are you a registered nurse with a passion for providing excellent care?

Rayne Ward is looking for a registered nurse to join their team at Broomfield Hospital for covering parenting leave (fixed term until March 2027). Secondments will be considered for this post.

We provide in-patient care to patients under a variety of specialities (such as colorectal, urology, gynaecology), to those undergoing both elective or emergency surgery, and patients who have recently been in ITU or HDU.

Collaborative working with the wider MDT is very important to us, and we work closely alongside our colleagues in physical and occupation therapy, the pain team, stoma nurses, tissue viability, dieticians, our surgical teams and many more.

This provides nurses with the opportunity to be supported in learning new skills, and developing their existing ones. Staff development is very important, and you will be supported in further learning and development.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse who has excellent communication skills, and wants to deliver exceptional care to their patients.

Please be aware this role may close early due to number of applications

At this time, we unfortunately won't be able to support candidates who need to complete their OSCE/CBT/test of competence.

Support the Senior Charge Nurse in actively implementing initiatives outlined within the Trust’s local Nursing and Midwifery and Patient Involvement & Experience Strategies

To assist the Senior Charge Nurse in ensuring that nursing practice reflects current clinical developments, evidence based guidance and is based on sound nursing audit and research, identifying opportunities for the promotion and participation in such activities.
