We are looking for enthusiastic and committed  nurses to join our existing professional neonatal team . We are part of the South London Perinatal Network. This is a busy level two unit with 22 cots.

We have 4 intensive care cots, 5 high dependency, and 13 special care cots. We offer ongoing professional development and education, with the opportunity to gain a 'Qualified in Specialty' (QIS) qualification  in neonatology.  Qualifications: Registered Adult nurses,  Paediatric Nurses  and  Registered Midwives with interest in gaining experience in caring for neonates and nurses who have some neonatal experience already, and would like to develop their knowledge and skills in this speciality.

### Skills

**Essential**

- Excellent written communication skills
- Occupational health clearance to meet the needs of the role
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding issues

**Desirable**

- Experience of working with staff and patients of various different background/cultures
- IT/Computer skills

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Valid registration as an RN/RSCN/RM
- Experience in neonatal unit and willing to undertake the course in six months

**Desirable**

- Pre/Post registration Neonatal/Paediatric nursing experience
- ENB 997/998
- Neonatal Courses/ENB Course 405
- Evidence of continued professional development
