Join our dynamic team as a Staff Nurse in our evolving Emergency Village incorporating the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Fairfield General Hospital.

We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses with proven experience gained post NMC registration in both our Emergency Department, and our Urgent Treatment Centre.

Our Emergency Department is a fast‑paced, high‑stakes clinical environment where urgent, unpredictable cases are assessed, stabilised, and treated by a skilled, multidisciplinary team providing immediate, life‑saving care.

Our UTC comprises of a dynamic team providing high quality patient centred care to patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses. This includes a variety of simple and complex presentations where you will gain extensive knowledge and skills to ensure patients receive timely assessment, treatment and care.

## Person Specification

### Knowledge, Training & Experience

**Essential**

- Proven post-registration experience
- Evidence of working within a high acuity area and dealing with the associated pressures
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Able to work effectively as a member a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently
- Able to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care
- IT skills

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working within an Emergency Department
- ILS Certification preferred

### Qualifications & Professional Registration

**Essential**

- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)
- Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent

**Desirable**

- Further post graduate qualification in a related speciality
