Our service supports diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy in partnership with  GHNHSFT colleagues, delivering high-quality care to our local community. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting patients throughout their endoscopy journey — from admission to discharge — alongside assisting with procedures and decontamination. We are recruiting to both substantive and fixed-term maternity cover posts. The role may include cross-site working across the wider endoscopy service, so flexibility to work across Gloucestershire sites when required is essential. The ideal candidate will have post-registration experience in endoscopy, theatres, day surgery, or a similar acute clinical setting. Knowledge of JAG standards and JET training would be beneficial, but is not essential, as a comprehensive training package is available for the right candidate.
