## Job Content

### Job overview

If you are looking for a new challenge, join our growing Endoscopy team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the entire endoscopy pathway, including pre-assessment, peri-procedural and post-procedural care.

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust has transformed services through the Clinical Services Review, with Poole Hospital serving as the major planned care and diagnostic hub and Royal Bournemouth Hospital as the major emergency and acute care hospital.

As a Staff Nurse within Endoscopy, you will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy. The service is also home to the Dorset Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and plays a key role in supporting diagnostic and cancer pathways.

Working alongside Clinical Endoscopists, Consultants, nurses and healthcare support workers, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care throughout the patient's journey, from admission and assessment to recovery and discharge.

The post is primarily based at Poole Hospital with frequent cross-site working across Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Wimborne Victoria Hospital. Shift patterns are typically between 07:30 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday, including participation in the 24-hour on-call rota once competent.
