## Job Content

### Job overview

We are pleased to be holding a Recruitment Event on 4th September. If you are shortlisted for this role you must be able to attend the event in person in Shrewsbury. Interviews and ID checks will be held on the day.

We're recruiting for roles within our Endoscopy Units and the Acute Orthopaedic Trauma Unit.

You will need NHS experience, either in a work capacity or through placements undertaken as part of your Nursing course.

Endoscopy Nurses

We're looking for experienced Endoscopy Nurses or ODPs to join our teams at both Shrewsbury and Telford (this role is cross-site). Ideally you will have previous experience in an Endoscopy setting.

Following a recent upgrade to our facilities, you will be trained to assist with new procedures & learning opportunities. We also provide a comprehensive on call service for the out of hours work, and the successful applicant will be required to participate in this once fully trained.

Acute Orthopaedic Trauma Unit

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O) team, working at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

This rewarding specialty requires a multi-faceted registered nurse, with an interest in the deteriorating patient, orthopaedics and silver trauma.

The HTP plan for this unit is to adopt single site trauma, making Ward 32 Acute Orthopaedic Trauma Unit (AOTU) the main trauma care ward for our region. This will include an increase in the number of T&O beds, which will bring with it developmental opportunities for those with a dream of leadership posts or clinical pathways.

**Please clearly state at the beginning of your supporting information which area you are applying for.**
