The Trust will provide a twelve month preceptorship period for all newly registered healthcare professionals. Healthcare Professionals returning to practice, moving into new roles or changing clinical environments, may access an agreed preceptorship period. ### Main duties of the job Candidates need to be flexible, enthusiastic and reliable- working independently and as part of a team. The unit is predominantly nurse led with input from other members of the multi- disciplinary team in order to provide a high standard of care to patients both pre- operatively and post operatively.  You will be involved in the admission process as well as the discharge planning of a small group of patients each shift and be expected to access, plan, implement and evaluate their care needs.
