### Position:

Children & Families Health team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Immunisation team, as part of the Children & Families Health team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. Supporting the delivery of the routine Childhood Immunisations across the North Ayrshire Health and Social care partnership.

### Hours and Shift Pattern:

The hours are 31.57 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday, within the core hours of 9am to 5pm.

This post is offered on a permanent basis.

### What you will do:

As part of the Children’s Immunisation service the post holder will work as a member of the integrated Children and Families Health Team delivering childhood immunisation programmes across North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership. The post holder will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing and provide care interventions to early years, school age children, young people and their families which reflects the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) practice model.

You will provide high quality nursing care support and advice to children and young people, their parents/carers.

First level registered nurse.

Driving Licence and Car Owner

Experience of working with children and families

Community experience desired

Evidence of further professional development

Working in Multi-disciplinary team

High level communication ability
