Beechwood Ward is an assessment and treatment ward dedicated to supporting older people with functional mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. This role is open to both Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Registered General Nurses (RGN) who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We particularly welcome applicants with an interest in strengthening the integration of physical health assessment and diagnosis within a mental health inpatient setting. Take charge of a ward from time to time as allocated. Adhere to those stipulations as defined in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times. Exercise leadership within the service by ensuring sound organisation, good communication and relationships within the nursing team under the guidance and supervision of the Ward Manager and Charge Nurse. Inform the Ward Manager and/or Nurse Team Leaders of any specific clinical activity as appropriate. Inform the Ward Manager and/or Nurse Team Leaders of any professional issues as necessary.
