### Job summary

Simply Serve Limited is looking for reliable and professional Courier Drivers to join our Facilities team. We have a range of part-time opportunities available.

As a Courier Driver, you will provide a vital service delivering pharmaceutical drugs, medicines, medical supplies, mail, specimens, vaccines, and other essential items to healthcare locations across Somerset and Dorset. Your work will directly support hospitals, community healthcare services, and patient care.

### Main duties of the job

- Delivering and collecting pharmacy medicines and medical supplies between healthcare establishments.
- Transporting mail, medical records, specimens, vaccines, and other essential items.
- Following planned delivery routes across Somerset and Dorset.
- Collecting non-clinical waste from healthcare sites where required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and securely.
- Adhering to all health and safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures.

A standby payment will be paid for the total hours you are on call and then an hourly rate will be paid for the duration you are called out.
