### Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapy Locality Lead based at Central Clinic, Kilmarnock. This post is offered on a fixed-term basis / secondment basis until 31st March 2028.

### Hours:

14.4 hours per week..

### From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

### UK Driving Licence:

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

### What you will do:

You will lead the Roots project jointly with the existing part time Roots lead. You will contribute to the East SLT leadership team and lead on service improvement. You will report to the HSCP via the Integrated Children’s Board.

### Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:

You will be a highly skilled practitioner with extensive clinical experience. Experience of line management, clinical leadership and quality improvement are desirable. Regular support and supervision and opportunities to enhance skills will be provided in line with Turas. You will have strong written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and work constructively with a range of people.
