CFHD are looking to recruit three Speech and Language Therapy Assistants to provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy support within the Experts at Hand service through advice, consultation, modelling of strategies, training, and targeted intervention. There are 3 positions available, 0.6wte in Exeter, 1.0wte in North Devon and 1.0wte in South Devon. The post-holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team and autonomously to support children and young people, families, and professionals by building capacity within early years, school and post-16 settings, delivering training, and offering time-limited direct interventions where indicated. ### Main duties of the job To include, but not limited to, assisting with the setting up and running of parent groups, childrens groups, individual assessment and intervention, advice and target setting within settings/ home and developing resources and packages of care. The post-holder will be accountable for own professional action and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice as appropriate.
