### Job summary

We are seeking two passionate and motivated Band 6 Speech and Language Therapists to join a to join our dynamic Adult Community Speech & Language Therapy team on a 3- month temporary contract. This is a full time position. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults aged 16+ who present with acquired communication and swallowing disorders, primarily within neurology services, across a range of community and rehabilitation settings.

As part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and management for individuals with communication and dysphagia needs, supporting them to achieve meaningful outcomes and maximise their independence.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience working with adults presenting with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience receiving and utilising clinical supervision.

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Degree in Speech & Language Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Current HCPC registration.
- Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport for daily travel across service locations.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Speech & Language Therapist.
