### Main duties of the job

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

You will also:

- Manage and deliver speech and language therapy care plans, including assessment, treatment, and progress tracking.
- Supervise junior staff and work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe, policy-compliant practice.
- Communicate with patients, families, and professionals throughout rehabilitation.
- Support service development by promoting therapy, implementing new techniques, and ensuring cost-effective care.

### Requirements

- This role requires a relevant degree, HCPC registration, and a postgraduate qualification from RCSLT. The successful candidate will have relevant experience, including some in a specialist area, and skills in working with patients with dysphagia and carrying out assessments.
