The successful application will be joining a friendly and supportive team. This is a unique opportunity to focus on mentorship of junior members of the team, to support with supervision and completion of their dysphagia competencies, whilst also providing clinical leadership in the acute setting. This is an ideal job for therapists wanting to take ownership of service development and improvement and develop clinical confidence to newly qualified staff. ### Main duties of the job This post would be cross bay, mentoring and providing clinical supervision across different service pathways (acute, community and stroke) covering a wide variety of patients inclusive of frailty, progressive and acute neurology, stroke, respiratory, and cancer. Competencies in videofluoroscopy and an ability to contribute to this service would be ideal but not essential. This role is for a 12-month fixed term maternity cover but we can support part-time or flexible working. We may have the opportunity to develop this into a permanent, substantive position.
