This post would suit someone with a passion for aphasia rehab or wishing to gain further dysphagia and therapy experience. Previous experience of working as a registered clinician is preferred but support would be given to develop your skills regardless of experience. We are looking for someone who can make a real difference to people after stroke, loves providing meaningful rehab on goals that are important to the person and is a great team player. We are dedicated to providing learning opportunities and regular supervision with our highly skilled team. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the role further. ### Main duties of the job - To provide specialist speech and language therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment to adults with communication and swallowing problems within the adult SLT service and stroke team - To work independently with the support and supervision of clinical leads - To work on the Sub-acute Stroke Rehabilitation Unit - To work as an integrated member of the SLT team and stroke team - To work with members of the multidisciplinary stroke team, including nursing, therapists, and assistant staff - To be involved in ongoing training to the multidisciplinary team. - To be part of a wider network of SLTs in Sirona including peer supervision and support ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the attached Job Description for a full list of duties and responsibilities before applying for this position.
