The post offers opportunity for outpatient consultant, minor operation surgery and general anaesthetic daycase surgery. ### Main duties of the job The OMF Specialty Doctors work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide end-to-end patient pathway care including assessment, diagnosis and treatment of hospital-based specialist oral surgery care. The successful candidate will undertake direct patient in outpatient, minor operation and daycase settings in our Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Hospital Burton sites. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Provide patient-facing specialist oral surgery care to assess, diagnose and treat patients who need secondary care level intervention. Working with the wider multidisciplinary team, including Oral & Maxillofacial and Orthodontic consultants to provide seamless patient care episodes and experience. No on-call requirement is expected although there may be opportunities to be on the on-call rota or engage in occasional on-call commitments if the candidate wishes. This role propviodes the opportunity to learn how to independently manage secondary care level patients within a multidisciplinary care setting. ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
