The post holder will shape service design around areas of Orthogeriatric, frailty, front door and outreach to our community hospitals.

The perfect candidate for this role would be someone who is forward thinking, has a broad range of experience in medicine, geriatric in particular, and interested in changing services to meet future demands.

### Experience

**Essential**

- At least 12 months exposure to UK General Medicine
- At least 2 years previous experience working within COTE Medicine and ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients and families
- Ability to work efficiently and timeously
- IT literacy

### Team Working

**Essential**

- Understand and work within the multidisciplinary team
- Ready to contribute to the team and understanding of roles and respect for expertise within the team
- Experience of supervising junior doctors

### Clinical Audit

**Essential**

- Evidence of interest and participation in clinical audit

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Full GMC Registration and a License to Practice
- MRCP or equivalent

- Relevant post graduate qualification
