We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and talented Specialty Doctor to join our Integrated Drug Service based in Aberdeen City.You will join our friendly and supportive team who strive to provide excellence in care for our patient group.It is a fascinating and varied role that will ideally suit someone with a background in Psychiatry, and experience and a genuine interest in Substance Misuse Disorders.Please see the detailed Job description for more information or feel free to get in touch to discuss the role. - Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.

**Desirable**

- A genuine interest in working with people who have problems with substance misuse.

### QUALIFICATIONS

**Essential**

- MBChB/MBBS or equivalent.

**Desirable**

- MRCPsych or equivalent.

### INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

**Essential**

- Well-organised and skilled in good time management.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to relate to and work as part of a team.

### KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

**Essential**

- Ability to work autonomously and seek advice as appropriate.
- High standard of record keeping.

**Desirable**

- Involvement in Medical Education.

### TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

**Essential**

- At least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant psychiatric specialty or equivalent experience and competencies.
- At least 6 months experience working in the substance misuse field

**Desirable**

- Previous community experience.
- Experience working as part of multidisciplinary team.
