This is a full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term post, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing high‑quality mental health care within a busy acute hospital environment. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, junior doctors, and the wider multi‑disciplinary team to provide timely psychiatric assessment and intervention for patients presenting with mental health needs within: - The Emergency Department - Acute medical inpatient wards You will play a key role in supporting safe, effective clinical decision‑making at the acute–mental health interface, ensuring patients receive the right care in the right setting.
