We are a digitally enable hospital, using technology to enhance patient care with the Emergency Department. It is exciting time to join WUTH as we are underway with the Urgent and Emergency Care Upgrade Programme as we redevelop our Emergency Department at Arrowe Park Hospital. ### Main duties of the job The post is designed to support an experienced Emergency Medicine Speciality Doctor in the Emergency Department based at Arrowe Park Hospital. The post is ideally suited for applicants wishing to pursue speciality doctor career in Emergency Medicine or to gain further experience prior to applying for a training post. Working as part of a 24hr middle tier rota, the post holder will be expected to independently assess and manage Emergency Department presentations (in adults and children). This will be under the supervision of the duty Consultant from the hours of 0800 to 0000 and with telephone access to the on-call consultant out of hours, who would return to base as required. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see attached Job Description for further information about the Specialty Doctor position available at WUTH. ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
