The postholder will oversee the management of the Orthotics labs within the HB, ensuring protocols and procedures are followed. They will be required to manufacture Orthotics and undertake a limited delegated fitting role. The postholder will work as a clinician assistant within the podiatry clinics. ### Main duties of the job The postholder will provide specialist technical support to the Podiatry and Orthotics Service, leading the manufacturing labs and provision of high-quality orthotic devices across Carmarthenshire. The role includes day-to-day management of orthotic laboratory operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, Medical Devices Regulations, and quality standards. The postholder will support clinical service delivery, supervise and train staff, and contribute to service improvement, stock control, and efficient use of resources. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
