Independently managing a caseload of complex respiratory patients who require both timely and comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation within the acute hospital. ### Main duties of the job To provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy to patients, working within critical care and acute wards, as part of an inter-professional team. This may also include supporting the ‘Post critical care follow-up and rehabilitation’ services Participate as a member of the team, managing a clinical caseload within the clinical standards, guidelines, objectives and procedures of the team. This role will require weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota basis. To support service improvement and delivery within the respiratory physiotherapy service. Participate in health promotion and education of staff, patients and families.
