The SLT team is made up of Band 5 and 6 Therapists, Technical Assistants, Apprentices, and both Specialist Team Leads and Specialist Clinical Leads (Band 7). We provide Speech and Language Therapy for children and young people aged 0 - 19 years across Oxfordshire in a range of settings. The Service delivery model is based on six Clinical Pathways and underpinned by the current evidence base. You will have opportunities to work alongside other members of the CIT team – Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and CIT Assistant Practitioners, as well as collaborating with the wider MDT in Education, Health and Social Services.  We also have close links with SLTs at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where specialist services such as the Regional Cleft Palate and Cochlear Implant services are based. Therapy teams have strong links with education colleagues, paediatricians, and AHPs across Oxford Health Trust. We offer a comprehensive induction programme, ongoing supervision (both group and individual) and appraisal with development reviews from experienced specialist staff, regular in-house training as well as opportunities for involvement in Service Development. The successful candidate will be expected to actively engage in the Trust's supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
