We are looking for a dynamic and motivated specialist respiratory practitioner with a wide range of skills to provide an expert service for the care and management of patients with chronic respiratory conditions. The RESPS team provide Pulmonary Rehabilitation, specialist physiotherapy, specialist nursing, oxygen and support with home NIV/neuromuscular diseases with respiratory complications across EHS and H&R CCG. We are a team of physiotherapists, nurses and respiratory support workers that provide holistic care to respiratory patients within the community setting. ### Main duties of the job We are looking for someone with proven recent experience of working with patients with respiratory conditions. Experience of the community setting would be advantageous but not essential. You will have the ability to assess and interpret clinical conditions, have an awareness of current professional and research practice issues and be willing to participate in national and local audits, a good understanding of Oxygen prescription and use is desirable. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as excellent organisational and time management skills. You must also be able to work both as part of a team and autonomously. You will need to show your commitment, enthusiasm and drive to develop your own clinical, managerial and team working skills within the service. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, work autonomously and be able to demonstrate effective teamwork. You will be supported through regular team meetings, 1-1 sessions and ongoing education and development. Access to a car and the ability to drive independently across the county is essential for the role.
