Based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, you will perform a range of MR  examinations, and will participate in a cross site rota with our sister site at the new QEII Hospital. In addition to general MR examinations, there is a fortnightly paediatric session for sedated and general anaesthetic cases and a dedicated session for patients with conditional pacemakers with support from cardiology. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, energetic department. There is a strong culture of teamwork and staff development, with CPD being actively encouraged and supported. We are looking for flexible, forward thinking and highly motivated radiographers, with good communication skills and team working ethic. Training will be provided to support you in your role. If the ideal candidate wishes to keep up other radiographic skills this can be accommodated. The Trust has 3 Siemens MRI scanners (3T and a new 1.5T). The department also has CR/DR systems, integrated with Carestream PACS and encompass a comprehensive range of equipment including DR general and dental rooms, flat plate interventional room, CT, MRI, Breast Imaging, DXA Scanning, Nuclear Medicine SPECT, flat plate image intensifiers and a wide range of Ultrasound services. There is also a dedicated recovery area for interventional cases in Radiology.
