We're looking for a compassionate, resilient, and dynamic Specialist Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team and help people achieve meaningful recovery. ### Main duties of the job

- To manage a caseload of community adult clients with multiple and complex needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
- To support the team/clinical lead in providing clinical and supervisory leadership to junior colleagues, support workers and students within own area of responsibility, within the multidisciplinary team.
- To be jointly responsible with other colleagues with the implementation of policy, protocol, service/practice development and change within own are of responsibility.
- To continue to demonstrate specialist clinical skills in practice and provide support/advice re service development and the delivery of care, in partnership with service users, careers, staff, managers and other agencies.

### Experience

**Essential**

- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at specialist level of care
- Evidence of development of specialist practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development.
- Previous community based experience or band 6 experience transferrable to community setting
- Experience of leading on complex care delivery
- Evidence of promoting/supporting active user/carer involvement/participation

**Desirable**

- Demonstrable experience of working in the specific field where the post is held.
- Development of specialist/advanced level of practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development.
- Leadership/management experience which has had a positive impact and created change within the service delivery/practice.
- Professional networking locally
- Ability to effectively Chair meetings.
- Working within a PBS framework

### Skills and Competencies

**Essential**

- Effective inter-personal skills and experience in supervising and mentoring.
- Able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Good time management skills
- Work within the culture of improving working lives and working time directive.
- Ability to demonstrate ethical values and attitudes within a culture of equality and diversity.
- Ability to effectively transport self between multiple addresses/venues on a daily basis including transporting, clients, equipment & clinical stock required for treatment

- Ability to lead and motivate staff to embrace change.
- Working knowledge of Trust policies and procedures to effectively lead and manage others

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Post registration/graduate diploma or equivalent experience in related work area, to demonstrate advanced level of practice.
- Demonstrable experience of mentoring pre-registration students
- Full understanding of relevant policy, legislation, drivers, and their application to clinical and service area, e.g., Mental Capacity Act, Social Inclusion
- Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area.

**Desirable**

- Evidence of CPD or experiential learning at an advanced level e.g. Postgraduate/master’s level
- Leadership training/qualification/experience
- Evidence of project work that has impacted on practice and demonstrates a higher level of communication/planning/change that impacts within own area of work/responsibility.
