This rewarding role sits within our early intervention pathway, supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety and low mood. The MHST Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor post also contributes to the development of whole-school and college approaches to emotional health and wellbeing across education settings. For applicants who are not yet qualified supervisors, we offer the opportunity to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Clinical Supervision of Psychological Therapies Practice at the University of Exeter as part of the role. Our MHSTs include Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) and Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) delivering evidence-based interventions within schools and community settings. As a Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting staff practice, maintaining high standards of care, and helping shape an evolving and innovative service model. ### Main duties of the job As a Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor, you will provide clinical supervision and professional support to EMHPs and CWPs working within the MHST and CWP pathways. You will help ensure children and young people receive safe, effective, and evidence-based low intensity interventions tailored to their needs.
